Sports Performance PROGRAM


Top athletes in the world have implemented rowing into their cross-training. Conor McGregor (UFC) and Cam Newton (NFL) have found huge benefits from adding rowing. Fitness, as every gym teacher told you, is a function of pain. The fittest athletes know they need their lactate thresholds as high as possible. How much pain can you handle? The more lactic acid your body can process, the more power you get out of it and the longer you can continue. We use ergs to measure power output expressed in watts, which we convert to a 2,000-meter time. Fitter equals faster, stronger, better – in all sports.


Who: 8th - 12th grade, Guys and girls

When: Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7:00 to 8:00 pm. Starts March 13th

We encourage any new rowers and their parents to commit to the 12 week Manna program.  Why? Psychologists discuss mastery as a pursuit of deliberate practice. From our experience it takes about two months, on average, to get basic rowing technique down properly. Guided by a skilled coach, mastery requires persistent training, focus, and dedicated hours. Manna's structured and proven 12 week program increases growth and maximizes results.
